There are several educational institutions that serve the residents of Warren County.
In addition to traditional K-12 public and private schools, Warren County has recently
added the innovative, Warren Early College High School and the Warren New Tech High
School into the matrix of the local educational system.
North Carolina’s community college system is widely regarded as the nation’s most
comprehensive and advanced program of vocational and technical education. Comprised
of 58 colleges across the state, it is the third largest community college system
in the country.
The system is recognized nationally for its customized workforce training programs
and offers a wide variety of occupational certification and continuing education
programs. Warren County is served by the award-winning Vance-Granville Community
College, long recognized as one of the most future focused and workforce sensitive
training colleges in North Carolina.
Warren County is also within one hour commute of the most advanced and nationally
heralded advanced educational institutions in the country which include Duke University,
NC State University and the University of North Carolina (UNC).
